Central Texas has some of the most beautiful untouched areas full of rich greens, wildflowers, tall grass, cactus, and water. Below is a simple list of my top 3 favorite locations near Belton, Texas.
Chalk Ridge Falls, Belton Texas
For those clients who do not mind a hike but want privacy and a waterfall, Chalk Ridge Falls is a gem. This park is settled right in Belton near Stillhouse lake and offers such a variety. Weekends can be a little busy, so I always suggest a weekday session here.
Stillhouse Lake Park, Belton Texas
This park offers a beach-like setting with views of tall grass, and rocky terrain. There is hardly any walking and lots of variety.
Dana Peak Park, Harker Heights Texas
Morning sessions here are so stunning. This park again sits right on the water, but it’s a huge park. There are so many unique trails, wildflowers, tall grass and land to simply explore.
